• Heartworm preventatives include: Interceptor, Sentinel and Heartgard to prevent Heartworm Disease.

• Flea and Tick prevention: Frontline Plus, Advantage and Revolution. We also carry Preventic Collars for dogs.

Summer time is flea and tick season, and that's why we recommend for your pet to use a safe flea and tick product.

      Newtown Veterinary Hospital, LLC carries prescription diets from Hill's Prescription Diets, Eukanuba and Purina. We carry the smallest bags of each style for dogs and cats and can order bigger size bags for you.

• Hills Prescription Diets is ordered Wednesday morning and comes in Friday afternoon
• Eukanuba is ordered Monday morning and comes in Wednesday afternoon
• Purina is ordered Tuesday/Thursday and comes in Thursday/Monday depending on the week.

     For prescription diets that we do not carry but doctors wish your pet to use, we recommend VetCentric. VetCentric is a veterinary supply company who will ship your food to you UPS within 3 business days. You can call them at 1-866-838-2368 to order food or we can call them and let them know your pet should be on a certain food and they call you for your information and which quantity/size you'd like. It's that simple! Their business hours are 8:30 am to 7pm EST Monday to Friday. You provide your billing and shipping information. They accept all major credit cards.
