Part-Time Receptionist
Shifts are 5 to 8 hours long

Full-Time Receptionist

Shifts are 8-9 hours long


Must be able to work days (starts at 7am)
Must be able to work nights (1pm-9pm)
Must be able to work Saturdays (7am-4pm)
 
Job Requirements:

     Must be personable and outgoing. Must have basic computer and typing skills. Must be able to multi-task. Must have good verbal and written communication skills, good handwriting and spelling. Must have good telephone communication skills. Must be able to lift items up to 50 lbs.

 
Job Duties
  • proficient venipuncture & catheter placement
  • induction, maintenance, recovery of surgical patients
  • reading EKG's
  • calculating & administering drugs
  • running blood & cytology samples
  • surgery/hospital discharges
 
  • patient treatments
  • nursing care
  • initiating fluid therapies
  • administering chemotherapy
  • performing dental prophies
  • digital radiography
  • client education
  • running appointments
     Senior technicians have the highest responsibility under management. Our doctors rely heavily on them. The senior technicians are also responsible for helping to train other staff members and participating in teaching Manor College Nursing students on their externships.
     On their evening shift the senior technician oversees other technicians on the shift.
Hours

Must work at least one evening shift in exams a week from 2pm to 8pm

Must work Saturdays on a rotational basis 7am to 4pm

Work at least 3 surgical mornings a week starting at 7am

Job Requirements:

     CVT is a plus but not necessary for experienced applicants. We prefer at least 1-2 years experience in anesthesia (we have technicians with every patient from induction through recovery).
     Must be able to oversee 4 or more employees a shift. Must be able to lift pets up to 50 lbs +. Must be able to multi-task, have good handwriting and verbal skills.

Must be able to work days (start at 7:45am)
Must be able to work nights (1pm-9pm)
Must be able to work Saturdays (8am-4pm)

Job Requirements

     Must be a positive and outgoing team member. A multi-tasker that is able to keep up with a fast pace. Must be able to lift and restrain animals that are up to and over 50 lbs. Also must be able to handle aggressive animals.
      Experience a plus but not necessary (we will train). Must be flexible and a team player.
