Parade at 3pm

Come and enjoy a fun-filled day devoted to our furry friends!

  • A variety of demonstrations will be held throughout the day, including a Mash Unit and Pet Parade.

  • Rescue organizations and adoption groups will be joining us and will be available for any questions you may have as a pet lover.

  • Refreshments (FREE!) will be offered throughout the day. This includes hot dogs, popcorn, pretzels, water and soda.

  • Raffles will be awarded at the end of the day. Drop your name into the bin to win your pet a beautiful basket filled with toys and treats. We will have raffles for "Puppy", "Kitten", "Small Dog", "Medium Dog", "Large Dog", "Adult Cat" and "Allergy Dog".

  • "Guess the Number of Treats" - For this raffle the person with the closest number without going over wins the container of  dog treats!

  • Family activities will also be held throughout the day. We will have a craft corner for the kids! MASH Unit and a face painter!

Pet Parade  3PM

The pet parade is our biggest attraction! The number of participants grows every year. Bring any pet - dog, cat, ferret - any and all pets are welcome. Come in costume! Dress your pets in costumes! Or just come and join in the fun! The parade will be held from 3pm to 4pm. Prizes will be awarded.

THE CRAFT CORNER!!

At the Craft Corner children and adults alike can create fun items for themselves and pets.
Don't worry about supplies. We will provide what's needed all your kids have to bring is their imagination and creativity!!
Some ideas:
1. Book Marks
2. Puppets
3. Placemats

Held from 10am to 3pm (will close at 3pm for the Pet Parade)

MASH UNIT

The MASH Unit is a big hit with children and will be open all day until 3pm. Our doctors and technicians happily suture, stuff, and bandage your beloved stuffed animals. Bring all your stuffed furry friends to be patched!    

Your Pet and the Vet

Come see our "child friendly" small animal care presentation titled "Your pet and the vet." Learn about basic veterinary care, nutrition and behavior in our pets. Plus, you'll have a chance to see and touch some furry friends. Perfect for pre-school and early elementary school children.

Presentations are at 11am and 1:30pm in Exam room 4

PHOTO BOARDS

Located on our lawn will be our dog and cat photo boards. Here you can take a picture of your or your child as our dog or cat. These boards will be available all day!

 

INFORMATION STATION

Have you ever wanted to see an x-ray? Want to see what a needle, coins, or puppies look like in an x-ray? Do you have questions about dentistries, microchips or how to do a nail trim? Well stop by our information station and ask our technicians about it. The information station will be open all day. The girls will also be happy to provide free nail trims for any pets you bring along.

Trenton Thunder's Very Own

Chase and Derby!!

Chase and Derby, the Trenton Thunder Bat Dogs
visited our fair from
10am to 12pm

These lovable Golden Retrievers collect the Trenton Thunder bats during their home games at the Waterfront Park in Trenton New Jersey. They come and visit us on occasion for their check ups and just to say "Hi".

Ms. Caruso performed Pet Portraits at our fair! A total of 12 30-minute sessions. Those interested had their pets portraits taken in some of the cutest poses.

Greater Philadelphia Search and Rescue
2009

When search and rescue expertise is sought, GPSAR is willing to travel. GPSAR's volunteer contingent of over 40 members, led by serveral specially trained and dedicated command officers is on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergency dispatch. GPSAR is available for contact via the Montgomery County Emergency Operations Center. To answer any questions you may have, GPSAR's office number is 877-598-5618.

Action Karate
2009
Action Karate came and put on a demonstration during the course of our fair. They are some of the best in Bucks County!

Demonstration at 2:15pm

Located at 11 Penns Trail, Action Karate Newtown offers classes for children starting from ASAH Sharks (age 3) to Little Ninjas (age 5), Junior Black Belts (ages 7 & up) and Adult Black Belt Classes. You will also find fun and informative Seminars, Birthday Parties, Leadership Classes and an awesome Wednesday Night Adult Workout at our location.
We are also very proud to offer classes for Special Needs! We also run programs through religious organizations, day camps and day care, parks and recreation camps & clinics.
Your child will learn more than just karate. We help guide your child in the right direction, giving them the confidence and self-esteem they need to carry with them to adulthood. We show them how to make good choices, stay focused and learn respect for themselves and others.

Warminster K9 Unit

2 officers and their K9 partners come and discuss all the parts of their jobs from drug sniffing, arrests and bomb detection. The officers spend time in an answer and question section and then do demonstrations. The participate for 2hours during the course of the event.

Unfortunately Warminster K9 was not able to join us in 2009. We look forward to them in the coming years.
