Newtown Veterinary Hospital, LLC prides itself on the fact that our doctors go above and beyond the amount of continuing education necessary for veterinarians working in Pennsylvania.
 
By law, veterinarians are required to have 30 hours of continuing education every two years. Certified Veterinary Technicians need 18 hours of continuing education every two years.
 
Below are some of the conferences and day courses that our staff attends throughout the years.
 

North American Veterinary Conference (NAVC): This conference is held in Florida for five (5) days every January.

American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) Conference: This conference is held for five (5) days every March and its location varies year to year.

2004: Dr Summers, Dr Rosenbloom, Riki, Dana and Erin

American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) Conference: This conference is held for five (5) days every July and its location varies year to year.

2006: Trish and Riki
 
 

Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association (PVMA): Holds different events throughout the year. Their main event is the Keystone Veterinary Conference (KVC) held every August.

Dr Ireland attends every year
 
 

Central Veterinary Conference (CVC) holds three (3) conferences a year across the country so all  have the opportunity to attend.
 
 

Western Veterinary Conference (WVC) holds a week long conference in the west every February
